REZA 

Reza is an urbanist, experimental photographer and academic based at the Leeds School of Arts, Leeds Beckett University. He has studied architecture, urban design and planning in Iran and the UK and has worked in architectural and urbanism practices in the Middle East. 

 

Inspired by his urban and architectural studies and fascinated by the notion of 'city', he has been taking photographs, particularly, of buildings, cityscapes and people for more than a decade.

Reza's photographs have been published in the British, American and Iranian print and online media, among them Getty Images, BBC, Art21 Magazine, Underline Magazine, and Shargh Daily, and featured in films such as Life May Be (2014) and Filmfarsi (2017). His photograph was included in the book: Candid Photography Collection for Exposure Award and was presented as part of a digital display at the Exposure Award Reception at the Louvre Museum, July 13th, 2015.
